The idea of making yogurt always struck me as vaguely disgusting, which meant I HAD TO DO IT. Disappointingly, it is not disgusting at all. It is actually disappointingly easy as well. I used this recipe, and then I used a bunch of these tricks because I rather prefer thicker yogurt, myself. I have been known to eat sour cream with a spoon at 3 AM, standing in the glow of the open fridge in my dark apartment, so plain yogurt actually suits me just fine.

My favorite, though, is yogurt with honey and berries. I also like yogurt with granola stirred in, like you forgot your breakfast on the kitchen counter for a week and the milk has just gone horribly wrong. Yogurt is the thing that turned me into A Breakfast Person. I highly recommend yogurt. I eat a lot of yogurt. So much that I made my own yogurt.
